Hello and welcome to Best Laid Plans.

0:11.0

This is your host Sarah Hart Unger, and this is a podcast where we talk all things planning

0:15.3

and planning adjacent. But today we are also going to provide an update about some

0:20.5

upcoming courses, something I haven't

0:22.2

done in a while because I haven't launched any courses in quite some time. Took a break from some of that

0:26.8

for the book launch that's coming in December. But I'm very excited to share that Best

0:31.7

laid plans at home and planning by season are both coming back in 2026, and it will be both of their third year

0:39.3

running. I definitely feel like these courses are getting better year after year as I take

0:44.0

into account feedback, and as I use the materials myself, I figure out what I want to add and take

0:48.7

0:53.5

them printed out or electronically if you like to use them with an app, like using GoodNotes. And I feel like

1:00.1

they've just gotten better and better. I've loved seeing how the people in my planning by season

1:03.8

group have been using them all year long. And yeah, just really, really proud of the material

1:09.4

that I've developed for these courses.

1:12.2

So what are they?

1:19.0

BestLight Plans at Home is four hours of structured annual planning divided into two two-hour sessions.

1:25.2

So it's four hours of content plus a one-hour mid-year check-in that's held sometime in June so that people can make sure they're on track with all those

1:27.8

goals that they've thoughtfully identified at the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026. I typically

1:34.6

offer multiple showings for best laid plans at home because I think this course is really the most

1:40.4

effective if it can be viewed live. There's something about the energy of other people in the

1:44.7

chat and just feeling like you are sat down and focused for those two hour blocks where you're

1:49.9

really getting your own planning done as there is time and space during these sessions where I
