0:21.0	Well, when I was in college, I remember there was one night, a group of friends of mine and I were sitting around and someone pulled out one of those books filled with questions.
0:29.0	There were just kind of conversation starters to see what you would say and it was basically built as a
0:34.6	would you rather would you rather a be true or b in your life and it was supposed to
0:39.3	prompt discussion and the one that had the most energy for us was would you rather
0:44.6	an option A was live a life of great adventure and purpose and meaning and yet it
0:50.6	involved times of great wealth and prosperity and also great times of deprivation,
0:56.5	great times of popularity and then also times where you are very much hated by a large swath of people.
1:01.5	Would you rather adventure with purpose and pain?
1:05.8	Or would you rather live a safe, comfortable,
1:09.6	meaningless life in the suburbs?
1:12.4	And without a doubt all of us young 20-something guys and girls
1:18.2	said obviously we want a life of adventure and it went around the circle and everyone said, I want to live the ride. I want to live for something. And it moved all the way around the circle to my friend Byron, who was last. And when we were done, he just went, you people are a bunch of liars.
1:35.0	We're like, what?
1:36.6	And he goes, look at you.
1:38.5	You all say you want adventure, but you're getting safe majors
1:42.3	so you can get safe jobs to make a safe amount of money
