courage and what I love is not just that courage is good and that courage can

benefit you and as you I'm sure you know that courage is a key component of

confidence but actually how to build

courage systematically, how it's done, the science and the habit of building courage.

That's what we're going to talk about today, because whether we think about this consciously

or not, we tend to have a default assumption in the background of our minds that courage is something that you have or you don't some people are just more courageous there's a there's a vague idea of like oh yeah when i have more courage i'll do that and somehow i'll either magically get more courage later on i'll just i'll have it somehow or you know I'm just not one of those people that has courage

and in that way those stories are identical to confidence you know we think that we're not born with

confidence we think that we're not one of those people that has it other people just have it

and we don't realize that confidence is a skill it's a muscle that you can build through practice
