0:05.8	interview, and we got to see a great program downstairs just now that I'd love for you to talk
0:11.1	about later in this interview. It's really cool when, you know, former inmates get invited back
0:16.1	into correctional facilities and get to sit down with law enforcement to have these types of

0:26.7	Yeah, we'll get there. Did you grow up in Kentucky entire life? I did. Yeah. Been here my entire life.
0:32.5	I lived about three minutes from here. By the public library library grew up in the neighborhood down there we
0:39.9	called the valley yeah my grandparents i had my great-grandfather was a sheriff here in a county
0:45.0	my grandfather was a clerk and um growing up you know i was always in the political
0:54.0	mindset of it you know i'm i'm to me i'm not a
0:56.6	politician there i think there is a difference um politicians and what i consider myself you know
1:04.0	i took this job to try to help people because i've seen people struggling a whole lot while
1:10.0	i worked here through the facility
1:11.1	over the years. But yeah, that's the only reason why I've tried to move forward and take in,
1:18.5	running for the office of jailer out like I did. So are you an elected official? I am. Yeah,
1:22.8	elected by. Now, does that make your job more difficult? Do you think to do effectively because
1:27.1	you're elected?
1:27.9	Or is there more pressure?
1:29.2	What are, like, the difference is?
1:30.1	There is more pressure if you let it get to you, just like any job you can let it get to you.
