The first ever DJ signed to a Nashville record label, Dee Jay Silver sits down with Jay to talk about his start in music, and how he was able to graduate high school at 16 and start college without even being able to drive. They also dive into his journey into the music scene, hauling records from gig to gig until CD turntables were invented, and how he grew into the country remix scene. Plus he recalls how he met Jason Aldean and started to evolve the country remix style, and moved from Vegas to Nashville to try and make his style work professionally. The guys also discuss family and the DJ lifestyle as a father, and how when he was young Dee Jay toured with the guys from Jackass and saw a lot of strange things!
