I am coming for you. We have no room at the inn for his doing. At the Kuiper Inn? Mel's Diner as full. How is Mel Kuiper, you know, like a week and a half out from the draft? Are you like, are you even more ratcheted up than you normally are? You know what? I'm still talking, which is a big thing at this stage of the game. The voice hasn't gone quite yet. Did the day before the draft last year and I was able to recover somehow and got it back in time for draft day. But now I'm trying to finalize the mock draft rounds one and two, which is out Wednesday, then the ratings,

which is the most important thing, get my top 150 in order, all my positional rankings in order,

and then basically finish up with that next weekend. So I'm a week away from that. I'm only a few

days away from finalizing mock draft, mock round one, and also round two, which makes it really

interesting. We're trying to connect the dots

with the first and second round, but that'll all be put to bed for me Sunday night. It goes up Wednesday, barring any late changes. I'll get to them Monday and Tuesday, and that's it. I don't do any morning of the draft mocks. I'll have news and notes that morning, but no more mock draft. It ends on Wednesday. that's the final draft that's it

who's the player like What's the thing that's changed the most from the last mock draft to this mock draft, Mel? I think Caden Proctor is such a wild card. I mean, the offensive tackle from Alabama, do you put him at six to Cleveland? Do you drop him down in the 20s?

Nobody really has a handle one, a kid who has incredible. He has a talent to be Orlando Pace, but he didn't play like that. You know, he has had some inconsistencies. Go back to the Florida State game that began the year. It was tough. You figured he recovered from that and he looked great at his pro day. So it makes you think, boy, how many guys are 6, 7, 352 that can move like him?

And there's light on his feet as Caden Proctor is. So he can be as good as he, you know, as good a Caden Proctor wants to think, focus, maximize. Don't be an underachiever in the NFL because that's how it is there for him to be a Pro Bowl caliber left tackle. Mel, you know, you know, the draft starts with my Jets at two. Oh, geez. The Jets have four of the top 44 picks, and I'm just not excited about it this year. Because I'm looking at this, I'm looking at this group of players, and I'm going, yeah, they're good, but there's nobody that's getting me excited,

Mel, change my mind, please. You want Mel to make you feel better. Is that what you're saying?

All of a sudden, Mikey sees a scout, you know, all of a sudden he thinks he knows more than

everybody. Who would ever think of that, right? Mike, I never know how to do more than everybody.

You're out there writing off his draft as a D-minus draft, and there's nobody out there.

Sometimes the draft that you think are really good, sometimes they fizzle once they're in the

league.
