Open AI CEO, Sam Altman, not mincing words in this new appearance on his brother's podcast,

accusing Mark Zuckerberg and Mehta of trying to poachers employees because the company's

struggling to achieve breakthroughs in AI.

Yep, he is not afraid to beef with almost anyone in the field.

And really, the AI talent wars, they're not just getting personal, but they're becoming

very, very public.

So Open AI CEO, Sam Altman.

He says that Matt is trying to poach his top engineers, offering what he called $100 million

sign-on bonuses as Zuckerberg builds his super intelligence team. Now, Altman claims

that none of his best people took the deals. A source tells me, though, that this isn't just a

flex. This is a strategic move to publicly raise the comp benchmark and dare meta to match it,

while also throwing shade on the talent that they have hired and deter anyone good from leaving

without this insane guaranteed comp. Now, Altman is also setting the stakes around purpose.

He says OpenAI has the best shot at building superintelligence, and he's positioning the company

as mission first, innovation-led, culturally superior to Big Tech.

I think that people sort of look at the two paths and say, all right, open eyes got a really

good shot, a much better shot at actually delivering on superintelligence and also may

eventually be the more valuable company.

Now, meanwhile, elite AI talent, it is turning faster than ever.

Part of that is this unheard of comp to move, even if it's not $100 million.

I've heard of it reaching triple figures.
