Give us fighter jets, he said, for a chance of Ukraine to be free.

And I appeal to you and the world with simple and yet most important words.

Combat aircraft for Ukraine, wings for freedom.

This is just the beginning of a long negotiation,

and Russia soon act doesn't seem ready to commit just yet.

When it comes to the provision of military assistance to Ukraine,

nothing is off the table, and that's because we're determined to ensure

that Vladimir the President and his people can be victorious.

But in recent weeks, there has been one hard-won breakthrough,

a commitment to supply modern Western tanks.
