since he quit sensationally walking out of government,

which I'm pleased to say was in our studio this morning.

And he was on at the very beginning alongside Michael Gove.

So we had two different versions, very different versions, of whether or not Rishi Soonak's flagship policy to stop the boats will work.

This was Robert Jenrick, very categorically saying, no.

I couldn't be the minister who was guiding

this critical bill through Parliament, recommending it to parliamentarians and to the public,

if I felt as I do, that it is a weak bill that won't work. And then a few minutes later, Michael

Gove, who had the conch for the government this week, lucky man with everything that's going on, and he was making the case very firmly that it will.
