Tell me how you got interested in the subject of consciousness.

It goes back pretty far, actually.

I really have been interested in it as a phenomenon for as long as I can remember.

I've been talking more recently a little bit about my first,

when I first realized that there was something interesting and mysterious

about the fact that we're having an experience.

And that, and this is, so this is at a very young age.

This is I was about eight or nine years old.
