Our topic this week is going to be reverse transcription of message RNA into the human genome.

Now, this is a heavy topic. I know there's a lot of molecular biology terms, genetic terms,

but I want to make it understandable for you since we have a late-breaking interview with

Nick Holscher at the McCullough Foundation and

John Cantazzaro at Neo7 Bioscience. And this is really exclusive breaking information we just

filmed. And I want to get this out to the McCullough Report audience. What we know is if you look at your genetic material that you're born with and then

what you carry over the course of your life, about 10% of your genetic material is not human.

It's not you. In fact, over time, you've picked up genetic code from other sources. The most common source is viral infections. So,

for instance, when you get the Epstein-Barr virus through mono, and 90% of us get infectious

mononucleosis in some form, that Epstein-Barr virus permanently installs into your DNA.

When you get chickenpox, it permanently installs in your DNA.

When you get herpes, the type of fever blisters or cold sores, that's permanently in your

DNA.

That's herpes simplex type one.
