Dan Hurley, Yukon head coach, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN,

the leading candidate for the Los Angeles Lakers job,

that they are engaged in talks,

that there is a very lucrative offer being prepared.

For Dan Hurley,

the coach of the last two national championship teams in men's college basketball

that would be a seismic shift now remember most of wednesday you had sham shirraniah the rival

nba insider to wodge reporting that j j j reddick would be the Lakers coach.

The Dan Hurley thing makes a little more sense, even though he doesn't have a podcast with LeBron.

But if it happened, holy cow, it would be a big deal in college basketball because Dan Hurley had kind of established a situation where you were wondering if anybody was ever going to be able to beat

Yukon again based on the way they ran through the last two NCAA tournaments. And it wasn't

exactly like it was with the same team either. He had made adjustments. He had replaced

players and they were still as dominant.

We'll see if it happens.

But it is the chance to coach LeBron and Anthony Davis with the Lakers,

and it's not like there won't be a college job waiting for him when he comes back if this doesn't work out.
