Welcome to Crossroads. The war with Iran is kind of on hold. Kind of not. Negotiations are starting.

There's a ceasefire. It's complicated. They locked down the Strait of Hormuz again.

We'll have to see where it goes, but potentially we could see ongoing U.S. presence as part of a

future deal. All of it's in the works deal. We'll know basically within about two weeks,

but a lot going on with this. Also, meanwhile, back here right in the United States, lawyers in Colorado

actually face criminal charges if they cooperate with ICE. That's right. If a lawyer cooperates with

ICE, they face criminal charges.

Another topic, there's a debate in Congress right now of where the people should be able to send welfare money outside the United States.

Taking that money meant for Americans and sending it abroad. I'll be talking about these topics a lot more today.

at least mostly. Negotiations are starting amid the ceasefire. This will include discussions

around ending Iran's nuclear program, but more importantly, this could actually see ongoing U.S. cooperation in the country going forward.

Let me explain kind of all sides of this. I'll get into it.

First off, here's what Trump said.

Trump said the United States will work closely with Iran,

which we have determined has gone through what will be a very productive regime change.

It seems that Trump is saying, you know what?

regime change, they killed basically the old leadership, they appointed a new leadership,

they killed the second wave of leadership, they appointed a third wave of leadership,

and that third wave is kind of what's in power right now.

Trump seems to believe that he can reason with this third wave.
