| 0:00.0 | This is an I-Heart podcast. |
| 0:13.9 | Hi, guys, and welcome to a new episode of Couch Talks on Uni Therapy podcast. |
| 0:19.0 | My name is Kat. |
| 0:19.8 | I am the host. |
| 0:24.0 | And usually on Couch Talks, I answer a question that you guys send to Unitherepepodcast.com. You can send those questions now. We always keep them |
| 0:29.1 | anonymous. You don't have to worry about somebody finding out that you're the one that sent the |
| 0:33.4 | question and you can feel really safe doing that. And then also a quick reminder before we get |
| 0:37.1 | started, this podcast, although I usually am answering your questions, does not serve as a replacement |
| 0:42.4 | or a substitute for any actual mental health services. However, we always hope that it can help you in |
| 0:48.0 | some way. Now, like I said, usually we answer questions on couch talks, but I was reading the newest edition of the |
| 0:57.6 | on-site journal, which is a journal that on-site, onsite workshops that a lot of you probably |
| 1:04.1 | are familiar with puts out. On-site hosts workshops and intensives, and it's outside of Nashville, |
| 1:12.0 | and they also have a residential program called Milestones. And they do a lot of really great work. A lot of people that I |
| 1:18.4 | hold highly regarded in the therapy world work there. A lot of my previous mentors have worked |
| 1:23.9 | there or do work there. And it's just a great place but i was reading their latest |
| 1:28.9 | journal and one of the articles that was written by mackenzie vaught who was the editorial director |
| 1:35.1 | is called on empty redefining rest and finding what we need to truly recharge and it made me think |
| 1:42.6 | about the episode we just did about burnout and I just thought we would |
| 1:48.0 | go through it because it talks about the seven different types of rest and how to find it. |
| 1:53.1 | And so I thought it would be really helpful just to go through that as an addition to what we |
| 1:57.9 | were talking about earlier with burnout just because this is a time of year where a lot of burnout happens. We're so rejuvenated and excited. We're doing so many fun things in the summer. And a lot of times we think that when we come back from rest or vacation or something like that, we'll be so excited to just jump back into things. And a lot of times it reminds us that maybe the stuff we're doing |
| 2:18.7 | isn't what we want to do maybe it reminds us how overwhelmed we were and then we have things happening |
