Summary

This week we head to Sierra Leone and take a look at their famous kapok, the Cotton Tree of Freetown (Ceiba pentandra). The kapok is a tree that has had uses for humans for thousands of years, but the Cotton Tree of Freetown was far more than just a useful tree representing the spirit of a nation.

0:56.0	I've also been up for several hours. However, usually when you come over to record, we spend about an hour getting to know each other, and warming up our voices in our banter.

1:27.0	Yeah. Like, surprisingly long for my local coffee shop.
1:31.0	I have a pretty low threshold for a line to turn me away.

1:38.0	Depends on the place, I guess, but coffee shop, if there's more than, like, let's say more than three or four, I'm like, now I'll get somewhere else.
