Hi, Dr. Laura, it's such a pleasure to speak with you it's an honor thank you thank you

actually I this actually the situation I shouldn't see situation this was something

that kind of upset me yesterday, but after thinking about it.

Last night, I kind of think I've already figured out what you would say to me,

because I really value your opinion, and I really do believe I overreacted but I was just

taken back.

My daughter, she's my only child, she's expecting her first child in about five weeks. So we text back and forth. We live a couple

hours away from each other and I just kidding me send her a text. I said, are you

in labor? And she said, said no she says i'm on a conference

call but if i was you i wouldn't tell you right away so that just kind of

through me because all this time I guess maybe I assumed or expected

without thinking to ask that you know I would definitely you'll be at the hospital and

be part of this process not necessarily in the room but

you know there and you know being there to welcome the baby right away and she informed me yesterday that you know her and her

husband you know for the first few hours just want to have time to bond with the

baby to just have that experience.

You know, she said, mom, you can be here at the house.

And then, you know, when things are a little more settled,

will call you to come up and meet the grandchild.
