Hey, I'm Liz Loza and this is Facts versus Feelings. You're a moose boost to your fantasy focus main course.

0:07.0

We are bringing more fantasy, more facts, more feelings, and of course, more fun. And now that I have

0:12.7

your attention, today's feeling is deliciousness. And we have producer Presley back for another episode. David, did you enjoy your Thanksgiving?

0:26.7

I did. I had a great Thanksgiving. Thanks for having me back two weeks in a row. Aren't you lucky? How is your Thanksgiving, Liz?

0:33.5

Um, you know, honestly, it was wonderful. And I have to say, like, what a great experience when there is too much food and not enough time. So no complaints. That's good. Too much booze, too much food, not enough time. It is my favorite time of the year in fantasy football though, week 14. You've got people that are, yeah, people are already in the playoffs. You've got this week will be super nerve-wracking for people that are trying to make the playoffs.

0:57.1

And then you've got the people that are out entirely but can ruin people's chances of making the playoffs. And that's one of my favorite things to do. Oh, I know you like to play spoiler, Dave. But I have to ask you, like, how do you personally, because I have my own answers and I think everyone does, how do you handle the pressure of this week when you're like, okay, I got to make it happen? Oh, I try not to tinker with my lineup last minute. I'm a big fan of like, I'll do my research. I'll get in there. Obviously, I'm watching FF now on Sundays. I'm watching the advice that you're given to just to make sure, you know, is that tight end that maybe I can throw in there that you're always calling to get a touchdown, Brent and Strange from last week. But yeah, I'm just not tinkering last minute. I probably got a couple cold ones there just to take the edge off. And I'm hoping for the best, you know, maybe a little pep talk to the team ahead of time, pep talk with myself in the

mirror, you know, really get ready. But it's a nerve-recky. You have to hype everyone up. You have to manage this squad. Yes. And I like that. In fact, I like it so much that I would encourage everyone else to like it as well by actually pressing the like button and subscribing. You do press a like button, right? And subscribe to the

2:02.0

YouTube channel. You can smash it. You can press it. You can subscribe to the channel. And you can call

2:06.0

a voicemail number. What's the number list? 914-348-1893. Had it highlighted on my rundown.

2:15.1

Oh, you did? I can't see. I can't look at the screen,

2:17.8

so I don't know if you look down there. Should we hit the disclaimer? Do it. Fantasy football is a game of inches, luck, and irrational confidence. Proceed with caution, trust your gut, and remember side effects of listening to this podcast may include spontaneous victory dances, mal-trash-talking, and the belief that your sleeper pick is better than everyone else's. Take the facts of fantasy football seriously, but consult your feelings before making any

lineup changes. We're starting out a little differently this week, Liz.

2:36.9

I am calling an audible because, as you know, I love a good crash out, and this crash out

2:42.6

got me, because I can relate to it. I roster this player everywhere. Hit it. Let's listen first.

2:48.8

Lamar Jackson is now dropable. I don't care what anybody says. Dude's a bum.

2:55.0

Dude is a bum. One touchdown over the last month.

3:00.6

Bum, Liz. I'm sick of it. I'm tired of it. Talk me out. I'm just kicking him out of my team entirely.

3:06.7

I am not going to talk you out of it.

3:08.4

I do take a little bit of an objection with calling a professional athlete, a bum. I mean, I don't mind

3:14.0

calling people out. I don't really like the words we're using because Lamar Jackson is incredibly

3:18.9

athletic, though I will admit that athleticism, particularly as it relates to his rushing ability,

3:24.1

has dried up.
