| 0:49.6 | That's what President Trump told the New York Post yesterday, and Iran has confirmed it will continue to participate. |
| 0:55.3 | But again, there have been mixed messages about where negotiations stand. For example, |
| 0:59.8 | Trump also told the Post he did not like that news outlets have been saying the U.S. |
| 1:03.4 | proposed a 20-year suspension of Iran's nuclear activity rather than a permanent ban, |
| 1:08.6 | though the Washington Post says it was vice president and chief negotiator |
| 1:11.5 | J.D. Vance, who made the 20-year offer. Either way, Iran has said it will only agree to suspend |
| 1:16.4 | nuclear activity for five years, so that still seems to be the main sticking point holding up |
| 1:20.8 | negotiations. Of course, another issue is the flow of oil and other commodities in the region. |
| 1:26.1 | The U.S. military says it has Navy ships |
| 1:28.0 | not in the Strait of Hormuz, but in what's basically the exit ramp before vessels can get |
