We've come to the Tower of London, right back in the centre of the city,

right by the river. There's tons of people presumably tourists around,

school trips and the like.

I make the trip across London with investigations correspondent David Pegg.

I don't think I've been in here to see the Crown Jules before,

so it's quite new for me and a bit of a different thing to be doing

for a Guardian workday, right David?

Yes.

We're researching royal wealth, so it makes sense to head for the public display

of some of their greatest treasures.

So coronation is in a couple of months,

that's going to involve Crown Jules, the regalia,

these kind of essential items and artifacts of British history,

which are going to be worn in public in a way that they're otherwise not really
