My name is Amanda Pua Walsh. I am the founder of

Astrology Hub and the host of this show. I am so thrilled to be here with our

favorite Rick Merlin Levine and yeah favorite. favorite, a topic today that has been inspired by several conversations that I've had with people in the last like three days.

And it's been so interesting because it's been a consistent theme and it's people that are like in

could be into astrology or were into astrology at one point but they've been turned off for various reasons.

So one of the people that I spoke to was super into astrology, like all through her 20s,

and then got turned off

because she found that it was getting used

to like put people into boxes and reduce the amount of human exchange.

You know, like you sort of make an assumption about people put them in a box and like go okay I get that person right so

That was one of them and then the other there's some other things that came up so I said to

Rick can we do the top five misconception or misuses of astrology and at first he said sure what are they and then I saw him three minutes later and he had five

perfect misuses of astrology that were very similar to the things I was thinking of.

Because when I heard these things from people, it actually hurt me because I realized

how astrology can be used in a way that is not empowering.

It is not, it's misused.

So Rick, let's start with misuse number one.
