welcome councillors hi hello good evening so I'll give a bit of introduction to to the ward and then to our councillors.

Okay. So Cossham is one of the three Portsmouth wards not on the island.

It's still part of Portsmouth, but you can fight in the comments about that if you want to. With Pawsgrove to the west and Drayton to the east, it stretches from

the top of the hill in the north and to Portsbridge Creek in the south. It's an area with thousands

of residential houses, mostly pre-World War II to the east of the High Street and post

the Second World War to the west with the Isla White and Wimmering Estates.

It's home to Highbury College, Cossham High Street, QA Hospital,

the council-owned lakeside office park and King George V playing fields,

and enjoys easy connections by car, train or bus into the city
