Just the the back and forth of this packed act and we're going to get into this. I have to make one small

correction, one small correction to what was discussed previously. Not a big one, but I do feel, well

let's just go and talk about it. On the Pact Act, before in the previous podcast,

where I said the Democrats had changed the verbiage,

changed the verbiage from mandatory spending.

You remember that part?

I was wrong.

They introduced the bill back in June,

and it already had said that.

Discretionary, mandatory.

So essentially, once again, for those that don't know

discretionary means kind of it has to go through the Appropriations Committee

but essentially it can be spent on realistically anything they want. They say they

won't but they can it all comes down to a vote. The mandatory spending says this is what it must be spent on

in this time frame.

Discretionary is different.

It's up to the appropriations committee has to go through them.

And when people are saying,

well, the Appropriations Committee has to approve it anyway,

we'll also, if you look at the actual Appropriations Committee
