I'm John Bowness of Twinsdaily.com with me Aaron Gleeman of the Athletic. As opposed to those other episodes, we talk about MLS soccer and the AAA Pacific Coast League. We had a lot of Twins News to talk about last week, and now we have, there's been some news from the rest of the AAL Central, I guess, this week.

But we thought this week we would, since there's not going to be a lot of Twins news or wasn't a lot of Twins news this week.

And to be honest, I don't expect a lot of Twins news here within the next week. we thought we'd just take a step back and take a look at the rest of the AL Central because frankly, I don't know, I think it's kind of interesting that the rest of the AL Central looks like they're going to be kind of stagnant. Stinks, John. That's what you're going for. I think they, no, I mean, in terms of future moves, they will be fairly. I was just, from the editor in me was just trying to shorten up your phrasing. Going to be kind of stagnant. What do you think if we use stinks here? Does that work? Any good editor. Can you turn 15 words into one? Yes. Let's do it. Well, that's good news for the twins. Well, they're part of the smell, unfortunately. Yeah, so this week, it's a little bit of a in-between week, you're right, because like last week or within the last 10 days was the deadline to set the 40-man rosters for the Rule 5 drafts, what you talked about on the last show, and then it was the tender or non-tender deadline for arbitration eligible players, all of which kind of forces some transactions.

Right.

You know, not necessarily huge headline grabbing ones, but there's movement on

rosters.

The guys get put on waivers, guys get added to rosters and all that.

And then you get through with that, and then it's like, okay, now it's just normal.

So the winter meetings start a week from today in San Diego.

And that's often sort of the start of the big free agent signing period.

And that's of particular interest to the twins this year because they're frankly in on some big free agents.
