I have the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Brendan Burrell,

whose new book, The Epic Rivalries and Heroic Science behind the

race to find the coronavirus vaccine, was just incredibly informative, also super gripping, really written like, I mean it's

narrative non-fiction, right? So even though this is absolutely a true story, this is, you know,

this is good quality journalism. It's also written in a really

compelling kind of page-turner kind of way. Now, Brendan is a science journalist who also, you know, he did his PhD in biology.

That was his background, went on to become a science to journalist and is currently working

as a correspondent for Outside magazine.
