And look, this is a topic that you hear me discuss constantly but it only comes up

when bad things are going on it's state planning and I want to give you guys the opportunity to just

hear what I talked about on television this week with Gail King on CBS this morning. It is a state planning amid a pandemic. Completely

consistent advice with what you've heard on this program all the time, but it takes on a different

flavor when there is a pandemic that is sweeping the country. So here is my segment on Pandemic Estate Planning from CBS this morning.

In this morning's eye on money, look at some important financial planning decisions to consider during this

pandemic. Look at Jerrica holding it down. As many teachers prepare to return to the

classroom, some are really worried about making contingency plans.

And it's not just an issue for teachers.

Before this pandemic, a December survey found that the number of Americans

who have a will or other estate planning documents

has dropped by nearly 24% since 2017.

CBS News business analyst Jill Schlesinger says not having a will is a big, big mistake. She joins us to discuss why.
