As the first anniversary of the pandemic approaches, vaccination programs have begun in a number of countries.

We'll hear from teenagers in Israel who've already had the jab, as well as clinically vulnerable

young people in the UK who have been waiting a long time for life to return to normal.

You've got to realize that it's not okay

that I'm stuck at home for almost a year now

and I haven't met more than three people

outside of my household.

So far, over 150 million doses of coronavirus vaccine have been administered to people around the world. organization says around

the world health organization says around a hundred and

30 countries with 2.5 billion people are yet to administer a single dose.

Countries with vaccines have their own strategies and generally the approaches to give

priority to those most at risk of COVID-19.

It's not just the medically vulnerable who are at the top of the vaccination list, it's also

frontline health care workers. And while we have shared stories of

doctors and nurses on the program, we haven't yet spoken to hospital porters or

cleaners who are also at a higher risk of contracting the disease.

So we brought together Candice Martinez, a cleaner at a hospital in Chicago in the States,

and Gary Tidball who's a
