Hello and welcome to the Thursday February 27th 2020 edition of Tesla Daily on

0:11.6

official Tesla Podcast.

0:13.0

My name is Rob Maower. Today we were of course talking about the macro environment, the impact on

0:16.3

Tesla stock, but we do still have some other topics with Tesla specifically to go through as well.

0:21.0

Tesla stock on the day today did finish down 12.8% to $279, that compared to the

0:26.7

NASDAQ down 4.6%, the worst day for the NASDAQ in more than 3,000 days since August of 2011. Since its all-time high close a little more than a week ago last

0:36.4

1:08.4

But again, that was in previously pretty strong macro environment.

1:11.5

If the macro environment softens further, you could easily see a bigger

1:14.9

decrease in Tesla stock price than that 55% cut. Not saying I expect that to

1:19.3

happen, but it's important to at least recognize the downside risks.

1:22.3

Looking at the macro environment then obviously these move important to at least recognize the downside risks.

1:22.6

Looking at the macro environment then, obviously these moves are being driven by coronavirus fears.

1:27.4

I mentioned this on Monday as well saying it wasn't something I was terribly concerned

1:30.7

over the longer term about, but that it could cause some volatility in the short term.
