It's going to be very raw and very reactionary

because we are actually down at the Repton Boxing Club

here in East London with the fighters for the golden contract and the news has just broken that unfortunately

The show is off and every boxing event in the UK is off obviously because of COVID-19 in the coronavirus and

it's disappointed news but perhaps the right news in the circumstances and I can say that I'm joined by Andy Clark Barry Jones and Jose I'll come to you

shortly but we'll go straight to the fight to the man who's probably lost the most

out of all of us today. Jose your immediate reaction the fight doesn't go ahead.

The semi-finals don't go ahead. I'm absolutely devastated that it's not going

ahead but it's what's safe for the world isn't it and for the country?

It's a very mature attitude, considering with professional boxes if you don't fight, you don't

get paid, you have lost out.

I know it's a postponement, but it's an indefinite postponement.

We don't know when we're going to be back and you've obviously

trained very very hard but to you none of that really matters it's about getting home to

your to your family. Yeah well I've got I've got a dad who's 60 year old and my mom's 60

as well and this virus is worth for older people and

it's younger people so I wouldn't want to be the cause of them being ill.

So in my opinion it's the best off the competition not going ahead.

Don't get me wrong I would have loved to fight I'm fit and I'm ready to fight

maybe if it was behind closed doors it would have been good but I heard that the government's not letting
