We've just in the last few minutes been hearing from the Prime Minister,

who's delivered a pretty somber press conference, laying out the government's response to the spread of COVID-19.

UK has now officially moved into the next phase of its response from contained delay, and that means a number of things.

We'll also on the programme be speaking to ITV health correspondent Emily Morgan

about the impact of all this on the National Health Service and whether the NHS will be able to

cope. And don't worry, later in the program, there'll be a bit of light relief. We'll be speaking

to Jonathan Lynn, the writer and co-creator of perhaps one of the greatest comedies of all time.

But first, Shehab, let's talk through what we've just been hearing from the Prime Minister

and the Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Scientific Advisor

about what this latest move from contained to delay means for all of our lives.

Yeah, so the, like you just mentioned, the Prime Minister and his two most senior advisors

when it comes to coronavirus have been standing up, they've held a press conference.

We've now moved into stage two of the government's action plan.

That's the delay phase.

So we were in contain, which is stage one. We've now gone into stage two. And it means a number of changes, first of which, is that

anyone who presents mild symptoms, whether that's a temperature or a new persistent cough that lasts
