As the coronavirus changes the way we live and work, we examine how it is affecting three very different professions,

hairdressers, funeral directors, and sex workers during a pandemic.

It was a real morality struggle for me more than anything else because I mean our industry is already

pretty frowned upon and then you know a stigma is there with just offering sex work to begin with

but to offer a sex work during a pandemic, like, that was my struggle.

Hair styling, be it adding color, curls, braids or extensions, was as popular during ancient Egypt as it is today.

And if social media is anything to go by, It's a profession that many people are missing.

Not least after attempting to cut their own hair in the mirror. So much so that an undercover

reporter for a BBC program discovered that some

hairdressers in the UK were flouting government restrictions during lockdown

when approached by potential customers.

It's only trouble getting a haircut.

Can you get it to my shop in about 10 or 15 minutes?

I put the curtain down as well.

It's not like, we're not allowed to cut it to the other.

It just last couple of weeks.

It's hard to survive to them. I'd have to do about two or three a day or so.

How much do you charge at the moment?

25 pounds of haircut. Okay, that's more than normal.
