As I continue to say, it's like time is going, marching on and it feels like everyday drags on,

OK, this is a note from Leo, who is 41 years old, his wife is 39.

And he says, the question is, should I go all in on a Roth?

My wife and I make $140,000 per year.

We've got two kids in a mortgage.

Last year was the first year we had the mortgage

for the entire year, and therefore we were able

to itemize our taxes.

We have about $270,000 in retirement,

of which 80,000 is Roth.

Our effective tax rate is pretty low,

considering we have about $7,000 in tax credits, the mortgage, and we have no

debt except a new car should be paid off in a couple of years.

I can max out a traditional 401k or do the Roth 401k but put in a little less.

My plan is to put in about 11% in the Roth and increase it every year by 1% for the next three

years and then I will be able to max it out.

Let's see, I get a pension according to an online calculator when I retire at 65,

that would convert to a million and a half bucks as a lump sum.
