This thing is worldwide, people. We're all in this together.

Now, we have passed 10,000 deaths in the United States and 74,000 deaths globally.

We're all watching these numbers every day, hoping the increase will slow and eventually start to drop.

But the way to get there is not easy.

Containment, separation is our only option until we have a vaccine.

The World Health Organization says there are about 20 organizations now racing to develop a COVID-19 vaccine.

And so today, we're joined by Dr. Bruce Gellin to understand what's going on.

Now, Dr. Gellin is the president of Global Immunization at the Sabin Vaccine Institute in Washington, DC.

And he's the former director of the U.S. National Vaccine Program Office.
