Good morning, Mike, says, Nigel. My hospital sent me a letter dated the 10th of October. It arrived on the 18th of October,

so it took eight days to come in the post. How can they use such an old-fashioned method like this in 2024?

Absolutely right, Nigel. How about this one from George, Mike? Reforming the NHS, how would NHS medical insurance work? If you're seriously ill and require a lot of treatment, would your premiums rise? It would punish the poor yet again. Well, there are insurance systems in other parts of the world that work perfectly

well, you know, people don't complain about them. In fact, people say actually the better systems

than the ones that we've got. Here's one from Jill in Hertfordshire. My husband had a hospital

appointment last week, which he attended. He received a letter two days later stating that

he'd missed his appointment, pure incompetence by the staff.

I think that's a recurring theme, and we're going to take some calls on this as well
