I mean, I know. I mean, I'm sad, but I don't think we're sad about the same thing.

Earlier today, Bernie Sanders dropped out of the presidential race.

Not a surprise.

I feel like it's the death of a certain dream that there was a dream of Medicare for

all, of free college, of a sort of economic revolution that would make a difference for millions

of working class and poor people.

And we decided to let that go, largely because we have a Democratic electorate that,

understandably, is paralyzed by fear and thus saying we will take the safest possible choice.

And I don't know that Joe Biden is a safe choice, but he seems safer than the relative

revolution of Bernie Sanders.

But when I got the taste of a true progressive and somebody who was offering more than the traditional status quo,

as Joe Biden has promised that not much will change.

I wanted more change.

I was hoping that this would be a moment when we could go for real change.

And now I'm being told that I have to vote for Joe

because Trump is horrible rather than Joe has to win my votes. There's already expectation that he's

going to move to the center, if not the center right, and I have to go along with it.

So I have to support center-right policies because
