Hello everybody and welcome to the Passion City Church Sabbath break podcast.

It's obviously Louis and Christian coming to you from what maybe looks familiar a little

bit.

Yeah, 515 transformed into a little sitting nook Christian.

Sitting nook didn't feel like me but I don't know where that came from but living room

whatever our team's done an amazing job of hopefully making this feel a little bit like

your living room your dorm room your apartment wherever you may be watching this right now

and Christian you know I'm thinking right now about all the people that come to Passion

City Church and we see them out here at 10 o'clock the 12 30 the 5 but we don't see them

every week so if we put all the people that come to Passion City Church a couple times

a month in one space it's a lot of people and I'm thinking they're all watching this

right now a whole bunch of people I know I know who's sitting right there at 12 30 I

know who sits right there at 10 I know at 5 the people that are normally right over there

yeah we know people we know who you are and where you sit but we're so glad that you've

chosen to join us today as we as Passion City Church as a family and a house just step

back we like to wrap three words around our Sabbath break that we are stopping and we're

resting and we are remembering we're stopping from that thing of we've got to keep the

machine going we've got to keep it going every single day we're resting from our efforts

and we're remembering the faithfulness of God and we're doing that as a house honestly

just to make a statement now we don't we don't really necessarily need to take a break

I think almost everybody's already had a vacation this summer and people have been to

the beach and people have had a time to decompress a little bit but we want to make a statement
