As we continue with part two of our interview with the public intellectual, Civil Rights

activist, Cornell West, who is now a presidential candidate.

Yes, he just announced Monday he's running for president as a candidate with the People's

Party, challenging both the Democratic and Republican parties.

And I don't talk about hating anybody.

We're talking about loving it.

We're talking about affirming.

We're talking about empowering those who have been pushed to the margins because neither

political party wants to tell the truth about Wall Street, about Ukraine, about the Pentagon,

about big tech.

Professor Cornell West teaches philosophy and Christian practice at Union Theological

Seminary.

He's the author of numerous books, including Race Matters and Black Prophetic Fire.
