I would like to thank my unsung hero.

I do not know her.

He just pulled up a chair and we talked.

I'd say for about... can't even express to you how much you've changed my life.

Today's story comes from Corey Widmer.

One day a few years ago I was having trouble with my car.

It was stalling out and having trouble starting and so I left work at about 5 PM in the middle of

rush hour to drive over to the auto park store to get my battery checked out and on the

way I was at a stoplight at a very busy intersection and there were cars all around me in front of me behind me and both sides of me and as we sat there waiting for the light to turn green, my car stalled out and wouldn't start.

And I had that sinking moment, I think we all as humans have sometimes where my gut is filled with dread and I just thought,

what am I going to do?

And at that moment I looked up and there was a man sitting in the median holding up a cardboard sign asking for money and he saw me he saw them my

cards sold out and he asked me he mowed the words do you need help that I nodded yes

and so he put down his sign and he ran towards me. He

wove in and out of the traffic and as the light turned green and the cars began to move, he stood behind me and he wildly waved his arms,

motioning for cars to go around me.

And once that path had sufficiently opened up, he ran up to me and he said,

let's push it together.

And so I threw it in neutral and the two of us pushed the car over to the side, the shoulder of the road. I said, thank you so much and he said, you're

welcome and and then he just went back and sat at his coast back in the meeting.
