Summary

*This is part 2 of Corey Taylor's episode. Though you are free to listen in whichever order you so desire we really do recommend listening to part 1 first or things might be slightly confusing*

It's a typical evening at The Moon Under Water; Landlord John is polishing the brasses with delight, Robin is sipping on a pint of Magic and the pictures on the walls are flickering between photographs of pubs and paintings of crisps. Things are nice and peaceful now, but there's a sense in the air that things are about to get loud. Yes, there seems to be someone approaching the doors of everyone's favourite Pub of the Mind... and with a thunderous scream the doors are thrown open, and in steps singer-songwriter and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor!

Corey is a self-confessed Anglophile, and whilst he no longer partakes in drinking alcohol pubs still occupy a very special place in his heart. After all, isn't the most important part of an alehouse the company you keep within it? He's spent many a night in the pubs of Britain and beyond, making his journey into the Correct Realm that little bit more exciting. So, push your fingers into your ice, pour another drink and join us.

Thanks, John. Yes, this week I asked you to work out which metal subgenres were real and

1:17.8

which I invented. And each question was three options. So first one was unblack metal,

1:23.3

medieval metal and precious metal. Which one did I invent there, Corey?

1:27.7

Going out on a limb here. I'm saying precious metal. Which one did I invent there, Corey? Going out on a limb here. I'm saying precious metal.

1:31.9

Precious metal. John, what do you think?

1:33.7

Yeah, same from me. It is precious metal. That was a silly one. But unblack metal.

1:39.5

Unblack metal is real as well. It's a form of Christian metal. But yeah, precious metal was the made-up one there.

1:45.2

So, well, done. Oh, of course it is. Jesus Christ. All right. Question two was Viking metal,

1:51.7

throne core and pirate metal. What do you think, Corey? I'm going to go with throne core.

1:56.9

Mm-hmm. John? I've also gone thronerone Corps. You're both absolutely right again. Yep.

2:02.3

Viking metal and pirate metal are real genres of music.

2:05.5

Lots of metal bands have been inspired by Game of Thrones, and Mastodon even did a cameo in the series, but I made up the term Throne Corps.

2:12.5

I was going to do the option floppy core, music inspired by the films of Hugh Grant, but I thought that was too
