Hello from Glasgow, I'm here for COP26, the Huge Climate Change Conference that is kicking

off right now and is going to be a big focus of newscast over the next few weeks.

You can tell something big is going on in Glasgow,

because you get to the train station and you see all these welcome to COP26 posters and there's UN symbols on some of the lamp posts and then I'm just walking to the conference venue now for the first time and you can just spot things that have popped up.

Like there's a place called the Sustainable Glasgow Landing, which is a bit of derelict land that's now got loads of tents on it for local and global

organizations to hold events.

And as I get closer to the SEC, which is the Convention Center by the River Clyde, you can just tell there's something big happening.

Oh, and there's even a new bus route for the duration of the conference.
