| 0:00.0 | Good afternoon and welcome to the Pompey Politics Podcast. It's our 2026 Kopner Hustings. I'm Ian |
| 0:07.2 | Tiny Morris. And I'm Simon Sandsbury. Good afternoon. That sounds wrong. I'm so used to seeing |
| 0:12.8 | good evening. Well yes but eventually after probably one of the slowest starts ever, all of a rush, |
| 0:20.1 | we suddenly ended up doing three hustings |
| 0:22.6 | in five days and today we focus on the north of the city in the ward of Copna. Yes, so we have |
| 0:30.9 | two of the candidates for Copner Ward joining us today and I'll introduce those in a second |

| 1:24.8 | the parties themselves, and any candidates we were already aware of. |
| 1:28.0 | And after the close of nominations, when they were announced on April 10th, we also repeated |
| 1:33.8 | this to include the candidates from the major parties for whom we could find contact |
| 1:37.7 | details. Some, sadly, we couldn't get in touch with. |
| 1:41.0 | It's fair to say the responses this year have been a little bit lower than previous |
