Summary

Welcome to the Corporate Casket, a weekly series where bad businesses go to die. Cops weren’t always portrayed as the good guys in movies, tv, and the news. Back before 1910, they were usually shown as “incompetent fools”. But, that’s when police organizations stepped in and shaped how the media could portray law enforcement with threats, blackmail, and bribes. By 1950, the LAPD had control of the scripts for one infamous cop show, and thus: Copaganda was born. Today, it’s everywhere you look and it's impacting more than you would ever guess.
