The U.S. were heavily favored heading into this one. Things started brightly, but then a goal was disallowed for offside, followed by Tim Wea being sent off for violent conduct. team right now.

They had two exceedingly winnable games to start the Copa America to lock themselves up with

a spot in the group stage after two matches and not put pressure on that Uruguay game.

And here we are with the United States needing a win against Uruguay, in all likelihood

as we're recording, needing a win against Uruguay, in all likelihood as we're recording,

needing a win against Uruguay, and even then, still not being in control of their own destiny,

this tournament might be over for the United States on Monday, and that blows my mind.

Joe, in the BR postgame show that we did, you talked a little bit about the atmosphere at the end of the game. Was it booze?

Was it taunts at the referee? Was it taunts at the players? Was it some combination thereof? What was the energy like in the stadium before we get into the energy of the press conference? Yeah. I don't know that there were a lot of taunts towards the players. There was a ton of frustration in the crowds, in the crowd, a lot of frustration towards the referee in this game,
