Summary

Jesus said there is a real place called heaven. Heaven is taught repeatedly throughout the Bible. Yes, we are blessed and victorious here on earth, but this life isn't all there is. There's a place where all sorrow, sickness, and death end, and we live in a city whose builder and maker is God. Have you lost sight of heaven while focusing on the things of earth? Does the thought of heaven cause you to rejoice? Are you building your life more on the temporary than the eternal?

1:40.0	where people who were in trouble who had accidentally or sometimes intentionally murdered
1:48.0	someone could run to and they would be given at least a fair trial. They were called
1:56.0	cities of refuge. They started out with three in Israel and what is astonishing is they ended
2:05.0	up because God said you need more because there were so many fights and they even give
2:11.0	the illustration in this chapter that I didn't read of why a city of refuge was so important.
2:19.0	They give the illustration in that same chapter if a man is out chopping wood with his axe and the
2:26.0	axe had flies off and hit someone accidentally in the head under the Old Testament law,
