HX 231 the 25th of March it leaves New York at 08 50 hours which is

Well, it's, yes, I mean, we left it on a cliff edge last week, I seem to remember,

and I've got so I really enjoyed doing that

that job about this convoy and the whole looking into this has just been fascinating

so yes so the convoy there's lots of lots of different moving parts

So when a convoy first sets out, in this case, it's setting, although it's HX, which

means it's a fast convoy leaving from Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada.

Most of the boats are not starting in Halifax. They're starting somewhere else.

In this case, they're starting in New York, because a lot of the goods they're starting somewhere else. In this case they're starting in New York because a lot of the

goods they're transporting are of course American. They're from the factories of Detroit and
