0:18.0	The first takes place in Texas where a man is facing capital murder charges after authorities say he killed his pregnant wife, despite initially

0:29.5	On Monday, October 7, Houston Police responded to a report of suicide at the home of 38-year-old Lee
0:35.0	Gilly and his wife, Krista Bower Gilly.
0:38.0	Lee told officers the couple had been arguing and that Krista, who was pregnant with their third child went to bed afterward.
0:44.9	He claimed that he found her unresponsive three hours later and called 911 after attempting

0:51.3	Paramedics rushed Krista to the hospital but she was pronounced dead.
0:55.6	Initially, Lee told police his wife had overdosed, but the hospital staff noticed
1:00.0	bruising and trauma on Krista's face. Medical professionals, including the medical examiner, reported injuries
1:06.2	consistent with strangulation. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences ruled Krista's death

1:14.6	compression. Lee was arrested on October 11th and charged with capital murder
1:18.4	after admitting that his wife was not suicidal, nor was she a drug user. He remains in custody without bond at the
1:24.8	Harris County Jail. According to court documents, Krista was nine weeks pregnant at
1:28.8	the time of her death. Krista's family issued a statement remembering her as a loving mother who was excited to welcome her third child.
1:36.1	They expressed their grief over her loss, saying that both she and her unborn child were taken too soon and needlessly.
