Hey, it is Wittness Wednesday on wretched radio. I'm Jimmy Hicks in one place. Todd is in another, which is actually the campus of Georgia Tech this week.

So let's get out there now.

There's a group of kids handing out information about sex trafficking and I'm intrigued.

Hey, dude, will you touch me on the radio for a second? What organization are you?

I'm with the VC on the Baptist Puget Industries.

So you're Baptist, right? Are you Baptist?

I'm actually not. I'm just, I would consider myself non-denominational.

So you're Christian? Yes.

All right. And what are you trying to promote awareness of?

The sex trafficking problem in Atlanta. Atlanta is, I would, I've heard it is the sex trafficking capital of the world.

And that means that basically that on within 48 hours of running away from home, teens are brought into the prostitution industry.

They're captured and they're held to where they are starved. They are on great. They are done have to untairable things unto them.

It's been largely kind of just brushed off by the government. There's not much awareness about it and it's happening right here in Atlanta.

And what do you hope to do about it?

We're hoping just right now to raise awareness so the people know it's going on because a lot of people don't know what's happening.

And the more awareness you raise about it, the more of a, you know, a-

Now we're aware about it. What do you want us to do?

To the government, have the government, you know, you can actually have this as a concern because actually I want to ask you a political question.

Why the government? Why not the Baptist? Why not the non-denominational? Why not the church?
