Hello, I'm your host, Liv, here with yet more on Sophocles's Trichinii. Because how

could I cover this incredible play without speaking to an expert who also loves it? This

actually started way back when I first had Amy on the podcast to talk all things Sophocles

back in the summer. We briefly touched upon Trichinii in that conversation, but I hadn't

read it at the time. So as soon as I started reading it, I just knew I had to bring Amy

back on the show. It's really becoming a favorite play of mine. It's just so interesting

and Diana is so complex and sympathetic and just so different from the other important
