Summary

I've spoken a lot about the importance of metabolic health in these crazy times, but what does this really mean? Find out in this week's episode of Controversial Thoughts (also available everywhere else and on podcast feeds) Simply put it means considering body composition (not being obese, overweight or having excess visceral fat), low fasting insulin (I talk a lot about this in this video), low fasting glucose and lower levels of insulin AUC (area under the curve) after eating. It's all in this video! Please share with people you know who may benefit. This is how we truly affect lives positively long term! #theremembering

all antibodies matter. How's that for an opening line on a controversial thoughts video?

0:06.8

That's not what this controversial thought is going to be about totally, but it's a really

0:11.2

important concept that I posted about on Instagram recently. As many of you know, the Instagram

0:17.1

overlords deleted my account there. So Carnivore MD is currently in detention. We do not know if it

0:22.5

will be released out of detention anytime soon, but you can find the new Carnivore MD Instagram

0:28.3

at Carnivore MD 2.0. I'm still at Carnivore MD on Twitter. Thanks to Twitter if you're not

0:34.0

banning me and all either social media in the past. But I debated actually going back to Instagram

0:40.0

and I'll say a few words about this before I get into today's controversial thoughts topic,

0:43.3

which is how to know if you're metabolically healthy and how to become metabolically healthy.

0:48.8

Very germane topics for today's world and current immunologic context. Let's just leave it at

0:58.0

that. But back to Instagram, I debated not going back on Instagram because I was so frustrated with

1:04.0

this platform. They are clearly censoring people. They are clearly deleting accounts that do not

1:10.9

align with their narrative. Having said that and speaking with many friends, I realized that if I

1:17.0

did not go back to Instagram, many people who need to hear the message of metabolic health,

1:21.5

of organs, of animal-based diets would not hear this message. I'm thinking about starting other

1:26.4

accounts and those other platforms can sometimes become echo chambers. People have already heard the

1:32.5

message. They know the message. Well, it's going to benefit them as well. But I think that they're

1:36.4

still good to be done on Instagram despite the fact that I hate the way the platform has run. I hate

1:40.9

the values and I hate the fact that they're silencing questioning and they're silencing narratives

1:45.9

that don't align with theirs. That is the reason I'm back on Instagram at Carnivore MD 2.0. I posted

1:52.9

a semi-controversial thing today on Instagram. But I'm trying not to get taken down this time, guys.

1:56.8

So if you want conversations about things that are controversial, which I will not even name right
