This is the COVID edition because if you've been following my social media,

I was diagnosed or I had a positive rapid antigen test for COVID-19 earlier this week.

So I'm going to tell you guys my story,

how I think I got it, and I'm going to share some interesting data

that I've been talking about over the last six months,

but that is particularly relevant now for me and for you in the setting of my coronavirus COVID-19 diagnosis.

So I first experienced some symptoms that I thought was a cold about a week ago.

I'm recording this on January 28th, 2021. It's Thursday last Thursday, so seven days ago.

When I went to sleep, I had a little bit of a tickle in my throat,

and I woke up with a little bit of a cough, a little bit of mucus in my nose,

but generally felt just fine.

That continued to progress for a few days.

It really never got to be that severe.

And then on Monday morning, that would have been, I guess, January the 25th.

I noticed that when I went to eat my steak, it didn't taste like it usually does.

And I thought, oh, maybe this is COVID.

So I got a rapid antigen test, and at low and behold,

I was positive on Monday.

Interestingly, at that point, I was basically already feeling better.

My cough had begun to lessen.

It was never really that bad in the first place.
