Welcome to the Fundamental Health Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Paul Saladino. This podcast

0:11.2

is the result of my relentless search to understand and correct the roots of chronic

0:15.1

disease and illness. In this podcast, I will share with you everything I have learned

0:19.0

about how to live the most healthy and radical life possible. Thanks for joining me on this

0:23.4

journey.

0:27.0

I'm going to tell you guys, it's time for more controversial thoughts. I got lots of

0:31.6

fun stuff to talk about today. If you saw my last video, I shared my own fatty acid markers.

0:39.3

I'm going to screen share those and go over my linolac acid, steric acid, pominic acid,

0:45.6

and make some comments about omega-3 and omega-6 synthesis that are relevant to low linolac

0:51.2

acid, high steric acid diets. This will be really cool. Check this out. If you are listening

0:58.3

on my podcast, this is a video that will be on Instagram and YouTube. These are my

1:05.2

central fatty acid levels in my red blood cells. I shared this previously. You can see

1:10.1

1:18.3

see that my steric acid is 19%, which is pretty interesting. You'll also notice that my

1:25.4

pominic acid is on the low end of normal. Pomevic acid being higher in the red blood cells

1:30.8

is a marker of insulin resistance, metabolic unhealth. Steric acid is probably high because

1:37.0

it ate a lot of suet and fire starter, which we're coming out with soon from hardened

1:40.4

soil. It'll be next week. Super exciting. Look at how low my linolac acid is. That's

1:45.1

because I don't have a lot of linolac acid in my food. I only eat grass-fed beef and

1:50.2

beef fat. I haven't been doing eggs recently as I've been doing an experiment. I certainly

1:56.0

don't eat chicken or pork these days. I don't think those are horrible for everybody, but

2:00.6

as you will hear an upcoming podcast with Brad Marshall, there definitely are instances
